• Volunteer Opportunities for Teens - Covenant House

  Here is a letter from Kathleen Davis, Youth Coordinator at Mary Queen of Peace

• I've been volunteering at Covenant House for the past 5 months as a youth minister, leading "spirit sessions" with the kids. For those who don't know, Covenant House is a shelter for homeless and at risk teens, ages 16-21. The young people have really responded positively to these sessions and we hope to continue them. We're looking for youth ministers who are willing to give an hour or so a week to these amazing people. Currently, the sessions are held on Wednesdays from 12:30 until 1:00 or so. The timing is somewhat flexible. It has been an incredible gift to my ministry to serve at CHMO, I know whoever steps in will feel the same.
